Happy Little Jam 002.

And here we are. My second video. I'm developing better precision on the Octatrack and learning plenty of new things. Amongst those things, are that the headphone out from the TB-03 to the Octa in, creates some noise. Apologies for that. All in all though, a solid jam. This one makes more musical sense. There's more tricks. More cohesive parts, and I'm more comfortable with the Octa's tricks. To boot, I also started using the scene fader, and I'm now settling onto a format for how to play. Track 1-6 are going to be samples, 7 a muted thru for setting up re-sampling, and 8 will be used for master fx. This jam is based on loops from another new track, "Gert Derrrrp". Vocals are me run through Infected Mushroom's "Manipulator". The big bass is a custom Moog Sub 37 patch, and it features one LFO modulating the waveform on OSC 2 into the audible range, and the other lightly modulating the OSC waveform. Very crunchy, and contrasting with the 909 and 303, which are techno to the core, it provides a bit of funk.
